Luxury Bridal Gown Goes Global in Destination Wedding: Featured #LBRbride Victoria Baggio

Luxe Bridal Rack has once again gone global! Our featured bride Victoria Baggio found her dream wedding dress at our Chicago luxury bridal salon. Victoria and Marc’s gorgeous destination wedding in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, was as incredible as the bride and groom themselves. Find out more about Victoria Baggio, her experience with LBR’s luxury bridal shopping method, her beautiful destination wedding, and why her gym will change your workouts forever–something our founder, Maria, knows firsthand!

The Chicago luxury bridal scene is diverse and competitive. But Luxe Bridal Rack was the right fit for Victoria. When she first stepped into LBR, Victoria knew it was different from the other Chicago luxury bridal salons.

Since LBR offers all designer gowns at diverse prices, we have a dress for every style of bride. We believe wedding dress shopping should be fun, not a headache. This is the mindset our Chicago luxury bridal salon and new Michigan location are based on.

Every bride deserves a gorgeous wedding dress! In fact, Victoria was so impressed with our luxury bridal shopping methods, we were the only bridal salon she visited!

Victoria also got her dream wedding dress altered at Luxe Bridal Rack. LBR’s expert team was able to alter Victoria’s dress to perfectly fit her on her special day. She looked absolutely stunning walking down the aisle in her Pronovias Emily gown.

Meeting the LBR Team

As she began trying on designer bridal gowns, Victoria found a sense of understanding from the LBR team and felt confident knowing they knew how it felt to be “in [her] shoes.” She continued, “They didn’t have to give me their professional opinions, but their opinions were so authentic, open, and honest–in the best way possible! They really were trying on the dress with me.” Victoria said the experience was “extremely personal and individualized,” and she felt very supported and encouraged by Maria and the whole Luxe Bridal Rack team.

Owner Maria Rubino’s hands-on, personable approach to luxury bridal instantly appealed to Victoria. As Maria walked Victoria through the wedding dress shopping process, she was inspired by the bride-to-be’s focused, motivational approach to life. The two inspired each other and shared tips about being young entrepreneurs in Chicago. And Victoria was impressed that Maria makes sure each bride feels important and has a personal experience.

Get to know the bride

Victoria is a young, determined entrepreneur. She recently opened a gym, Ethos Training Systems, in River North alongside her co-founder Tim Cohen. Ethos’ mission is to “cultivate a confident and caring community with individuals who believe anything is possible with a plan and a will to work hard.” Ethos–the Greek word for character–is founded on the belief that with strong character, you can develop physical strength.

When you enter the gym, you’ll find their motto hanging on the wall: “Don’t be scared to fail, be kind, and grind.” This mentality is evident in every aspect of Ethos Training Systems. The three pillars of the gym are strength, conditioning, and mobility. Their unique concept is a sustainable gym. According to Victoria, “You could come here every day and never reach a burned-out feeling.”

Victoria and the other trainers help structure your workouts to significantly reduce injury and keep you motivated. Ethos Training Systems’ trainers will work with you to help you achieve your goals. They are dedicated to providing a level of care and training that’s missing from other Chicago gyms.

Ethos Training Systems is located at 314 West Institute Place in Chicago and offers classes for everyone. Find out more on their website.

The wedding

Victoria and Marc’s destination wedding was at Flora Farms in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.

Victoria and Marc initially planned on saying their vows in Chicago, since both of their families are local. But after vacationing in del Cabo, they fell in love with the restaurant Flora Farms. A few months later, they were researching wedding venues and discovered that Flora Farms hosts weddings. Victoria instantly knew that’s where their wedding should be.

What really sold them, Victoria said, was “the absolutely incredible food.” This really was the perfect venue. Everything you eat is grown on the farm, and this sustainable model reflects Ethos’ sustainable gym model. “The scenery and venue were beautiful, and the food was incredible,” Victoria surmised.

On January 26th, 2019, Victoria and Marc exchanged vows in the garden surrounded by flowers in a beautiful ceremony. Victoria said that while she loved everything about her wedding, her favorite part was walking down the aisle. “It was the one moment where everything was calm, there was a great song playing. I got to walk down with my dad and see Marc at the end…it was a super calming and beautiful moment,” she said.

We’re so happy Victoria and Marc had an incredible wedding and we’re so honored to have played a part in it! Congratulations, Victoria and Marc! We wish you both a long life of happiness and success!
